Revitalisasi Pertanian Melalui Green House Berbasis IoT untuk Meningkatkan Ekonomi Petani Merica

Abstract

This innovative program aims to raise the economic potential of pepper farmers in Balumbung Village through the implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT) based Green House. Collaboration between lecturers at AK Manufacturing Bantaeng, IKM pepper tani actors, and local communities resulted in a technological breakthrough that changed the traditional way of farming. The Green House is equipped with advanced sensors that monitor climate and growth factors, integrated with an automated system to create ideal conditions for the growth of pepper plants. The program, which began in September, underwent full implementation within four months. Active outreach has ensured good understanding among the public. Through this project, pepper farmers not only experience increased yields, but also gain empowerment through education and training. This program has positive changes occurring and is an important step towards sustainable agriculture and a stronger economy. With an IoT-based Green House, this program is an inspiring model in introducing modern technology to the traditional agricultural sector, with the potential to have a significant impact on the economy and welfare of pepper farmers in Balumbung Village.
