PENDAMPINGAN KELOMPOK TANI BACARI DALAM PERENCANAAN PEMBANGUNAN SALURAN IRIGASI TERSIER DI DESA PALAMBARAE KECAMATAN GANTARANG KABUPATEN BULUKUMBA

Abstract

In the dry season the water needs of rice fields in Palambarae Village cannot be fulfilled properly, thus affecting the production of farmers. Based on this fact, this service was carried out with the intention of examining the utilization of irrigation networks and planning tertiary irrigation channels on agricultural land in Palambarae Village, Gantarang District, Bulukumba to be more efficient to reduce the problem of water shortages in their rice plots and increase the effectiveness of the irrigation channels themselves. The stages that will be carried out at the time of assistance to the community are taking field measurements, conducting socialization and training on understanding the steps that will be taken in this planning. Socialization and training are carried out jointly by the PKM team to the community. The results of this planning are expected to be used by the Village Government and villagers to overcome water shortages during the dry season so that they can easily carry out activities in the rice fields without having to think about the problem of water shortages. The assistance process starts from planning, construction implementation, supervision and management of irrigation networks by involving community participation and Bacari farmer groups as implementers of activities. The results and outputs of this community service are in the form of presenting irrigation channel plan drawing documents, cost budget plan documents and activity report documents so that it can make it easier for the Village Government to carry out irrigation work.
