Abstract

The Lebbae 1 Farmers Group located in Tonasa Village, Takalar Regency is our partner in this devotion. The problem faced by partners is the low quality of the corn grain produced due to inadequate post-harvest handling so that the grain harvest often does not meet SNI quality requirements and the demands of the industrial sector. The aim of the devotion is to increase the knowledge and skills of partners in determining harvest time and post-corn handling so that the quality of the corn grain produced can be better. The solution offered is education to partners through counseling and plot demonstrations regarding harvest time and post-harvest handling of corn. Implementation methods are counseling, training, plot demonstration, mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. This devotion activity has provided benefits for partner farmers because it can increase their understanding and skills in terms of harvest time with an increase in score of 51%, post-harvest handling (72%), and understanding of safe seed moisture content for storage (78.4%) so that The seeds obtained are of better quality. Mitra has participated in the entire series of service activities with great enthusiasm. They hope that activities like this can take place in a sustainable manner
